Product Description
Each tablet contains 20mg of the active ingredient nifedipine.
Nifedipine inhibits the influx of calcium into the heart muscle cells and coronary arteries.
It also improves the oxygen supply to the heart muscle while reducing the oxygen requirement, resulting in an anti-anginal effect. Finally, nifedipine dilates the arterioles which results in decreased resistance effectively normalizing elevated blood pressure.
