L-Mesitran ointment’s formulation contains 48% medical grade honey, medical grade hypoallergenic lanolin, sunflower oil, cod liver oil, Calendula officinalis, Aloe barbadensis , vitamin C and E and zinc oxide.
The ointment dilutes gradually and can be easily removed using regular wound cleaning protocols.
L-Mesitran ointment is used to cleanse, assist in the reduction of bacterial infection and help quicken and optimize the healing process of many types of wounds.

I bought a second tube of L-Mesitran Ointment and the colour varied slightly. Is something wrong with it?
No. L-Mesitran Ointment can vary in colour from white to light yellow to light brown due to the use of natural ingredients.
There are sugar crystals in the ointment. Should I be concerned?
No. There may be sugar crystals present in the ointment as the active ingredient is medical grade honey. This is normal and will not affect the effectiveness or the application.
May I interchange L-Mesitran Ointment and L-Mesitran Soft?
No. Your physician will prescribe the L-Mesitran preparation that he/she thinks will be most suitable for your condition. The formulations are not identical.
