Product Description

Each capsule contains 20mg of the active ingredient omeprazole.

Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor which hinders the enzyme responsible for secreting gastric acid, essentially blocking the final step of acid production.

As a consequence, omeprazole leads to inhibition of acid secretion, reducing the volume of gastric acid produced and increasing its pH value.
